there’s every reason to be alarmed | but no reason to be concerned

Good listeners can’t always hear

Not being able to communicate effectively is frustrating and poor hearing often results in people treating you as though you have a few brain cells missing rather than simply not being able to hear clearly!

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) encourages all public areas to take steps to accommodate a range of disabilities to enable everyone to deal with everyday life in as independent manner as possible. The installation of an induction loop is just one way of helping those people who are challenged to hear as well as most of us do.

It means they can pay bills, deal with the authorities, get books from the library, post parcels, buy goods and visit places of interest without dreading the whole process of understanding what people around them are saying.

If you're in charge of a public building or area and you don't have an induction loop system – or have an old one that needs improving – give Lifeline a call.

Call us now on 01634 373 522 for a no obligation chat so you can help the hard of hearing to get on with their lives with no fuss.
